The Owl and the Pussycat is a poem by Edward Lear and also the "theme" of our wedding.

Why do we need a theme? I don't know! It's just something my dad used to read to me and it's whimsical and sweet!

Not many people have used this cute poem about a wedding for their wedding...it doesn't seem very well known! Lots of folks have just assumed that B is the owl and I am the cat...since my name is Cat. Anyhow...must educate our guests :)

Why are the teal M&Ms not print-on-able? I might have convinced myself that custom B&C, 10-11-08 M&Ms were totally necessary to have at the wedding, but NOOO. Can't print on the teal!

New obsession...

Yep...I got engaged on Christmas, so the wedding planning is underway. Actually, just trying to settle on a place right now!

So, what am I particularly obsessed over? My wedding palette!

I wish I could just rip off one of these palettes...but I am a priss and I think October calls for something richer...right now I am feeling burnt orange and either deep teal or a light muted blue-green. Also, anything birds! I think I may be jumping on the bird bandwagon a little late, but I just love the nests and feathers and branches for a fall wedding. I am trying pull together my favorite images and then I will share!
